Round Bales, Round Barns & The Red Barn 'Round Nod....

There's a fullness in the air....of a summer over-ripe....
I can feel the prelude to autumn in the air....

There's fall in the air at my friend's (Cathy from Red Barn Rugs) too....
I spent the day helping her get patterns ready for upcoming shows and workshops....

Here are two of her brand spankin' new designs that I'm adding to my dance card (don't tell her I'm showing you...she hasn't even "released" them yet...):

"Bittersweet Bonnie:"

And "Pumpkin Line:"

Now this crow is off to find a nice bird bath in the sun and soak these ol' bones....Not an easy task standing for hours on one leg while holding a Sharpie marker in the other.....

;o)

Enjoy your soak. Those are spiffy patterns! Aren't we all a bit over the top for a pumpkin about now? Love the rolls of hay. In the town I grew up in, we had salt marsh hay rolled that way. Nothing more pretty than a salt marsh!
Blessings!

Cute patterns. Enjoy your soak. Light the candles, take a big glass of red wine with you. I hear the wine lubricates the achy joints. (well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it)

OK...I love barns but have never seen a round one. No corners for the cobwebs to get into...heehee!

I DO love the rugs.....the kitties are awesome!!! Wish I knew a thing or two about rug hookin.

Have a great relaxing night!

Robin, Sounds like a fun day. Love the hay bale and the barn. That's a newbie for me, never have I seen a round barn. Love the rugs. I want so to learn how to do this so badly. Don't have a single rug. That would be so neat. Take care and enjoy your soak!!

Robin ~
I, for one, am NOT ready for fall, mostly cuz I HATE what comes after it and the older I get, the longer the winter lasts!
That round barn is just gorgeous!!!

Could that bird bath in the sun mean you got that pool cleaned up by any chance?

You are always in a good mood!

I love Cathy's designs...but I haven't even started the first one from her...so I shouldn't be looking at the 'teasers'.

What a gorgeous round barn...where is it? Or is it on Cathy's property??
