Halloween Magic and Possible Impossibilities.......

Fall and Halloween is a wonderful time in my mind and my world....
Nature puts on a spectacular show and there's magic in the air....
Nothing smells like a wooded forest carpeted in blanket of fall leaves....
And truly, anything is possible....

I've already been touched by the magic of the season....and by some possible impossibilities...

******

Remember when I said it was not likely you would see many photos of me on my blog as I hate virtually every likeness of me ever made....well.....I changed my mind....I'd like to introduce you to Witch Robin:

I was the winner of an awesome giveaway at MJ Ornaments recently - and the amazingly talented (and very sweet) Martha took a photo I gave her and made this remarkable ornament.  I LOVE it!!! Even the back is precious:

Thank you ever so much Martha....I absolutely, positively, adore this!!
If you wanna be a witch too, Martha can help you out.....Just visit her MJ Ornaments Shop.  She also has bunches of other wonderful pendants, charms, and ornaments that, trust me, are absolutely "bewitching!"

********

And another possible impossibility and touch of Halloween magic:
I was also one of several winners in the recent "What's-in-Your-Brew?" Giveaway sponsored by EHAG Emporium.  If you're not familiar with EHAG, you, my friend are living under a Halloween rock!  EHAG stands for "Eclectic Halloween Artists' Guild" and is a gathering of some of the most amazingly talented and creative artists you'll ever bump into in the night.  And of all the wonderful artists and prizes, I was tickled orange and black to be the winner of something from an artist I have long admired....Deb Adams from Possible Impossibilities Studio.  YIPEE!!!  I am pleased and honored for you to meet Grimly:

(Deb sent along a sweet little bag of candy too....)

Isn't he just the cutest dang thing ever??? Deb - I truly, do-ly, love him....and he's truly a well-behaved little goblin....I can't thank you enough, Deb, for sharing your Halloween magic with me!!

************

Oh....and one last touch of magic....(and, given my technologically challenged nature, this also fits into the category of a possible impossibility....)  I'm sure you noticed my new blog header....This was an incredibly generous surprise from the wonderfully sweet, creative and talented Traci at York Mountain Primitives.
Traci continues to dazzle me with her many different talents - folk art, dolls, bears, penny rugs, stitcheries, woodworking, gardening, baking, photography, poetry...and blog graphics!!!  I wanna be like Traci when I grow up.

Thank you Traci, from the bottom of my Halloween heart....

(And, hey - a little crow told me that Traci is having a giveaway on her blog where you can win your own personalized Halloween blog header designed by Traci....But you better hurry....the giveaway only runs for 13 hours....)

Wishing you a season filled with magic and possible impossibilities!!

I wondered about your new header - Love it. And it is nice to finally see a photo of you.....well, sort of! Maybe you are more of a Shy Crow than a Cranky Crow?? Maybe you are not a crow at all?? Maybe you are a beautiful swan just posing as a crow?? Hmmm, now my mind is spinning. Dang, got myself dizzy pondering that.....LOL

Oh! SO much to love here. I love the blog header. You're right, a lovely bit of work.

I love the witch silhouette, too. I've enjoyed watching how silhouettes have become increasingly popular with us creative types. So much nicer and more forgiving than a photograph, I quite agree.

And thank you for introducing me to EHAG anf all their wonderful things. ....Now I'll never get to bed before 2.00 am...
