Riddles and Rhymes And A Wee Bit of Springtime....

....And that's all the rhyming you're getting out of this crow today.  (You're welcome.)

In other words....."What I won't do for a bunny."  Not just any bunny....but one of Traci's bunnies.....
If you have been paying attention to my sidebar, you would know that Traci from York Mountain Primitives is giving away sweet little guy:

But she's making us work for it.....
Well, sort of.....Each week she is having a little Easter egg hunt....If you play along, you get extra chances at that stinking cute bunneh - and a chance to win one of Traci's weekly prizes.  This week was all about riddles.....Three total.

The first riddle:

I am something that
comes in the pastel colors of Spring
I am soft and a bit of a squishy thing
one box may do, but you'd prefer two
so there you have it, this is your clue
I am ?

My answer:
(No, Traci, they really aren't from last year.....) ;o)

The second riddle was:

Many will say that size doesn't matter
but this time of year the bigger the better
Fashioned from gourds, quills, splints or deer antler
there's not much you own that I can not handle
What am I?

My answer:

And the third riddle was:

Dating way back to the early 1800's, I'm sweet as can be, my popularity no wonder
Spring is the season of rebirth & growth, I've long been associated as a symbol of them both
molded and tucked in a pretty hidden basket,
if someone steals yours...you may just blow a gasket.

My answer:

(Yes, there's really a chocolate one in there...and no, a girl can't have too many chocolate molds....)

You know I can't resist a good scavenger hunt or riddle....
There's still time if you want to play too.... Traci's giveaway runs through March 20th.  (Just don't steal my answers, ok?) ;o)

Thanks for the fun Traci!

Hi Robin...Your pics are great...those molds are fabulous!
I have never been a big Peep fan...until recently, when I found some that were covered with chocolate. What a vapid life I have led, and a misspent youth as well., Guess I will have to make up for lost "peeps" and consume great amounts before their short time with us ends. If you've never had a chocolate covered peep, it's worth the effort to track a few dozen down.
Enjoy the weekend, dear girl,
Robyn
