Not Nobody, Not No How......

Well, we made it safely to the Emerald City.....

Only to be met with:

After months of planning, preparation and schedule-rearranging, we were sent away because Little Crow has a small burn mark (from welding) on his leg near where some of the incisions would be made and the surgeon did not want to risk infection.

This now makes twice we have made this long journey, and twice we've been told to "go away."

Next I fear we'll be asked to produce the broomstick from Wicked Witch of the West.

I want to thank you, though, for all your prayers and good wishes.
We're packing them away for "next time around."
After all, there's no expiration date on prayers, right?

Oh no Robin, so sorry it did not work out, but having a son that is a welder and a hubby that welds often at work. That doctor was wise, those burn marks are deeper burns then what they appear and can get infected easily.
Prayers never expire, so we will pray more that it will go better next time around.
hope Little crow gets it fixed soon.
Hugs

I'm sure you're disappointed, but it's better to be cautious. Now....if they ask for the broom, you can borrow mine.

Never expire, just wishing for lil crow to be on the mend..darn! OLM

No expiration on prayers, Robin! My dad was a welder too. Hard not to get those little burns. You will need to put young crow in a "boy bubble" to protect him. All joking aside, as frustrated as I feel for you, better safe than sorry. Infections can get nasty after surgeries, as we all know. Hang in there!!! ~*~Lisa

You must be so frustrated! But, as in Oz, things will work out in the end and we'll keep the prayers flowing.

Robin I am so sorry about this - so much stress, worry and planning goes into it.
Only to have to go through it all again at some point.
It's all for the best we know that...you know that...He knows that.

I am so sorry Robin. How frustrating. This time, keep him in a bubble until his next appointment. Also, you better get yourself some ruby shoes. They always brought things the right way around. Just think, maybe the prayers did work and God knew it just wasn't the right time. He always has a plan. Hang in there. -Steph-

Oh no! Not again! I'm so sorry it didn't work out this time, but we all count on doctors knowing what is best for us and safest for us. Prayers don't expire... ever.--Jan

Well, this is crappy.I am so very sorry. Surgery is an anxious misery, without the constant delayed start.
How is Little Crow bearing up?

Hold onto those prayers and good wishes. They keep their lustre. You are a wonderful woman, Miss Crow and I am full of admiration for your constant good humour.

So sorry your son's surgery has to be postponed, especially after you made a a long trip for this purpose. Hope his burn heals soon and he takes it easy so the surgery can proceed on your next trip! ~Roberta
