Tuesday Display Chain ~ PATINA!!!

Sadly, this is the last Tuesday Display Chain for a while...
Thank you, sweet Misi (of 1890 Gable House Musings), for the fun while it lasted.

This week's theme: Patina
Ahhhh...I love me my patina.
It soothes my soul like a rich, healing, balm.
Glorious, beautiful, patina.  Great choice Misi...only problem was, I had a hard time stopping.  So, a great number of photos...but, thankfully for you, few words are required.

The patina of stoneware:

 The patina of metal:

The patina of wood:

The patina of leather:

The patina of printed pages:

The patina of stone:

The patina of my ancestors:

The patina of my childhood:

The patina that still holds my heart:

Click HERE to be magically transported to the beginning of the chain at 1890 Gable House Musings and to see the "patinas" of the other chain gang members.

I agree with frontporchprimitives.... your post is just lovely, and the last pic touched my heart. Those hands look like those of my 83 year old mom..... Although her's are a little more crippled up, they are beautiful.... just as those hands are in your photo.
All of your choices for patina are wonderful!! Love them all, and I know that your home must be a wonderland of prim goodness!! Wish I lived closer.... I might just be knocking on your door right now!!
Have a fabulous day,
Penny

Sincerely beautiful! Each photo touched my heart.....and reminded me of my family and our legacy, too. Thank you. This was wonderful.....especially the hands. I can remember each set of my 4 grandparents hands.

Oh my feathered friend, what lovely pics! The solitary crock is my fav...so pure and simple. The hands are so very beautiful! I am so grateful to have taken pics of my mother's hands before she was gone. One day I pulled out the camera and took many shots of just her hands...and then, shots of her hands with Annie's and my hands as well. Love that I have them.
Thanks for always making me smile when you visit my blog...you give me a boost...often when I really need one :)
