The Merriment Chain ~ Day 4: Cr*p!

Day 4 of The Merriment Chain hostessed by the charming Misi and equally charming Robyn....

And this crow isn't really feeling the "merry" right about now.
:o(

This was SO not what I was intending to post (yes, sometimes (although not very often) I DO plan ahead).....
But, alas....I had a wee problem with some lights.....
So, you get THIS instead....
Not sure when (or IF) I'll get the lighting issue resolved....but trust me, you'll be the first to know.  ;o

Anywho....

Filling in for my intended post is a display I've posted before and I'm sure most of you have seen along the way.....My Putz sheep and bottle brush trees.
Nope, don't change it up much from year to year - cuz I LIKE it. Ok???
(Told ya I was cranky....)
Perhaps plus or minus a sheep or tree from other years' displays (as I add to it, then move a few to other displays)....but it's always one of the first to go up....Guess I figure I'll have a "tree up" just in case everything falls apart....

Stay calm and merry on!

"Thous shalt not be envious. Especially at Christmas time". I absolutely love this. Love it. I have no Putz sheep, but may have to start a collection after I move! Love the bottle brush trees too. Again I am saying,"Thous shalt no be envious"

Love your sheep display!! Beautiful job.... I have some old sheep, but my display of them doesn't look half as nice as your's.... think I'll be adding some bottle brush trees to it... thanks for sharing! :)
BTW... I've been kinda cranky the past few days, too. Hope I snap out of it soon!

I am so with you on the lights issue. 2 strands went out on the basement tree, you should see how hubby fixed those..sigh. Then a strand went out on my daughter's tree, will be fixed later. I have a chunk out of the middle of my tree. And finally, the spotlights on my house have shorted out already!! Merry Christmas!! ;)
Love your Putz sheep!!

Robyn,

Your sheep are lovely! I like them too!

I am so sorry that I am laughing right now. But, I so understand that cranky feeling. I get the same way! And lights- that would be the first thing to do it! I HATE putting up lights. I make my husband do it.

Last year, in my classroom, I had one of those strands where one goes out and the ones leading up to it go out but not the rest. My one student changed out every light, could not get it to work. And it was all attached to the ceiling. I was cranky teacher that day.

We should all start one blog about hating lights. I am seeing that as a common theme on the blogs. Errr.

Blessings, dear friend!
Hugs,
Heather

Robin, why mess with profection? Love it... now for the lights... you need the light keeper pro... goofy looking red gun, you can find in with any holiday lights, menards, home depot, walmart, target... etc... pull out a bulb stick the gun into the socket and click, bomb, the lights should come back on and show you the burned out bulbs.. It really does work! OLM

Ok I will try this again. No matter how many times I see this little herd of sheep, I adore them even more.

Ooooo lights make me cranky too. Sorry about that. Your sheep and trees are wonderful to fill in for you in a moments notice. Do they keep you up all night with the noise and baaing? Good luck with the "other" display. Can't wait to see it. -Steph-

p.s- you need not use a banner for the chain. I just grabbed mine from Misi's blog and I know that Robyn has her own too. -Steph-

I can see why you'd put this up every year. It's really very sweet! Now, what do we get to see tomorrow?
