Little Crow and the Mailbox.....

This time of year in Nod is bleak and unforgiving.

If you let it, the endless sea of white and sameness can eat you up and swallow you whole.

It can make you crazy....convince you that things are there which are really not....

And, sometimes, make things that were there....

disappear.....

Or, at least, that's what I'm told.....

And how did little crow fare?
UGH! I am so ready for spring and it's not nearly as "white" in northern Ohio.

So cold and snowy here too...I'm so ready for Spring as is everyone else.
Your pictures are just beautiful though - no matter how bleak and cold.
Thanks for sharing Robin

Uh oh! Mailbox bit the dust! We were lucky last year--the snowplow hit it and the city replaces them. Thing is, when they dug it out, it was apparently hanging on by a thread! New deluxe post and THEIR labor! Woo hoo! Hope little crow ...and his ride...are OK. --Jan

I was driving behind a herd of turkey's running down the road just today Robin. They are so funny when they waddle-run. Couldn't hop up over the high snowbanks, so they just kept running down the middle of the road. Our mailbox is leaning, but at least we can find it. Such a magical time of year. ~*~Lisa
