The Oh-So-Very Good, The Bad, and The Downright Ugly....

Hey there Peeps!
Didcha miss me?
Ok....Don't answer that.

Yeah, I know I said if I made it through February, I'd be a better blogger in March.  And, yeah, I know it's March.  And, yeah, it hasn't happened yet.
But, hey...there's still a couple of weeks left for redemption, no?

Anywho...Just a little "catch-up" post here...And it truly can be summed up by the title.  So, let's start with

The Oh-So-Very Good:

A few weeks ago, I won a Spring giveaway from Robyn at Primlish, and that girl spoiled me up good.  A whole box of Primlishious goodies:

Are these not the coolest prim little eggs you've ever seen?

A little candle, some bird and egg ornies, feathers (LOVE me my feathers you know!), and the sweetest old Arithmetic book (LOOOOOVE!!!)

 Mini Easter cookie cutters

A giant feedsack carrot that suits my bunny gal well.....

Not the best photo (sorry), but a little cupboard candle holder and sweet Robin's egg blue candle.....

Little Easter mold ornies (yeah, I have a "thing" for molds....)

 Bunny head ornies.....

And last, but certainly not least, a beeswax bunny (Look Mom...he's got ears!!) ;o)  (Sorry....inside joke....), some wonderful pieces of olde ticking, and a little piece of quilt (the latter which I just realized I neglected to photograph and now my camera battery is dead....)

Thank you SOOOO much Robyn!!  You're one of the rockingest Robins/Robyns around and you don't know how much it tickles me to have a little bit of Primlish in my home!!

*************
Ok, now for

The Bad:

Little Crow's car was totaled.  I've spent several weeks dealing with the aftermath.  (Grrrrr....I rank car salesmen and insurance agents about on the same level....and, trust me when I tell you that you don't want to know "what" level....)  His knee took a pounding.....

I am continuing to fight the plague.  It's now been two months of pneumonia, bronchitis, sinus infection, upper respiratory infections and back issues....I'm on round three of meds....If these don't kick it, they start with the MRI's, CT scans, and other fun stuff....

It continues to snow in Nod....Even when the sun shines, it snows.  It snowed yesterday, and the day before...and the day before.  It is snowing now.  Another major storm is coming in Monday.  I am weary of white.

That's all I'm gonna say about that.

*************

And.....

The Downright Ugly:

The bath "re-vamping" (which was precipitated by a malfunctioning "midget-sized," irreplaceable loo) has begun. I do believe we have the messiest contractor around.....
Heaven help me.

love the things she sent you, just really love them, Lord, yes, still praying over that knee, and for healing for you.

No advice for you, but to lay off all dairy & wheat, sometimes they just trigger all kinds of misery like you mentioned. Still trying to follow this advice on myself!!!! Yes, Annie girl, kick the cow & chaff!!

Spring will get to Nod, it just has to get through 7 cattle gates, and bird sanctuaries. hugs, friend!

I missed you! I have been wondering about your son and how you were feeling. Snow and cold is sure not going to help you feel better. Nor lack of sunshine! I have never had so many colds in the course of one month, and that is nothing compared to you. But, certainly I blame it on the weather. And kids.

How sweet Robyn is! Just when you needed a little brightness! Yea!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so, I think you need to be very careful about the dust in your remodel. He needs to really clean up the dust from it. When I was little, my parents added on a room to our house. I got so sick with bronchitis. They tracked it down to the plaster dust. The contractors were so sweet and took extra care to clean up dust. I worry about that for you.

I will be praying that you and Lil' Crow start to heal!

Love to you, Robin,
Heather

you have been truly missed, the gifts you received I hope made some sunshine come to your day, I wish for you speedy healing, this has been one rough winter for you and for your son and to be remodeling on top of everything, yikes! The warm suns of spring will soon be here, we are still buried in snow too but theres one thing for certain we can't stop Mother Nature and she will soon send spring, that will help you heal.Take care my friend , I'm so sorry for all you have been through this last few months.
Keep warm, take care,

So happy you are enjoying your goodies...and the bunny can hear again! ;) FYI- that cute little cupboard tuck is really a book light. ;) But that is another great use...may have to try that myself!
I hope you feel better soon. And I agree, you need to wear a mask or something around that remodel. My dad had the same thing happen and couldn't shake being sick. Take care my friend!
Spring will be here soon! XO

Hey you be careful with that Sinus infection. I know all to well about them..and how they lead to all those other things you've been dealing with. I've been dealing with the same for months. Finally doing better but they did find two tumors in my sinus. Not sure what i will decide about having them removed..Prayers for you.. Feel better friend!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!

Your treasures are just beautiful - she knows you so well.

Oh poor Little Crow....I pray for his knee to not be injured all over again.
Sorry you have to go through all that with the insurance and car reps. So sad!

Snow...not sure I even want to repeat that word...lol...all it knows how to do here!

Blessings,
Karen

Oh my! Robin...still sick!?? This winter has been brutal for so many! I'm hoping sickness is on it's way out of your house very soon! Wonderful surprises from Robyn...love those lil' molds. Car accidents seem to be multiplying. Brian was in one Sunday morning...always worry about him hitting his head. He's Ok...I hope there isn't a setback for Little Crow's knee. I don't know how you are handling everything with you being so sick..and a revamping too. I think you need to go back to bed and pull the covers over your head...works for me! ---bug hugs, Jan
