The Whiting.....

It's begun.....

....that period of time here in Nod when everything becomes white....

Very, very, white.....

The Whiting....
(And I'm not talking fish....)

With the "sticking" snows beginning early in October, and the heaviest (March) snows yet to come, it's about this time that one starts questioning their sanity.  Things that were, aren't....and things that weren't are.... (Remember last year during The Whiting our mailbox went MIA.....???)

Anyways....There isn't much of color to report here....hence my silence.
The wee bit of Christmas I put up this year is mostly still up.....(It's part of The Whiting Madness you know.....or so says I.)  I have, for the first time in a long, long, time, picked up my hook, my punch and my needle (no, not all at the same time Sillies!), but have not made any share-worthy progress.  All projects, however, involve hearts, so I best get moving or they will be put away, unfinished, until the heart mood strikes again in a year or so.

For now, I'll leave you with a few hearts that have made it out and about here.... (Hey, they're red, and so blend in fine with the left-over Christmas decor.....)

Stay safe, stay warm....stay sane.....

I have one of those OLM angels, too.

Love your hearts Robin. I have none. To decorate with. I need to work on that. Close your eyes & try to imagine all of the life churning below the ground under the WHITE. There is energy there. The sap will push up and give color to the twigs soon. Then the flowers...and the birds return. Color will come. It will. It will. It will. ♥Lisa

I like how fresh and clean everything looks under a layer of snow but only through February. After that I'm ready to garden. 45 days until spring. ~Roberta
