Tuesday Display Chain ~ Week 2: Black and Orange

It's week two of Misi's Tuesday Continuous Display Chain....and I'm trying to hang in there.....Been a crazy couple of days and promises to be a crazier week....but fodder for another post, another time....

Our premise from Misi:  "Your use of Black & Orange OR Green & Black OR White & Black - Pick 1 combo for 1 Display"

Come on peeps....you know me by now.....

I'm going with BLACK & ORANGE!!!

(Did I surprise ya??? No??? Didn't think so.... ;o) )

This is my chicken crate display....it is on the wall as you walk in our front door and hangs over an antique beadboard cabinet:

"Jack Be Nimble" Punchneedle...A With They Needle & Thread (Brenda Gervais) design; crow pinkeep on box, and punchneedle cat on miniature oil can....  

Wood carpenter's tote with gourds and patchwork stars in black and orange, and Book of Spells....

Pumpkin head on box by the wonderful Dru from A Fine Farmhouse (Cinnamon Creek)....


Punchneedle on old wool carder....Design by Buttermilk Basin.....(Awesome idea to finish it this way by moi.....) ;o) (Sorry - don't get those creative flashes that all the rest of you do very often!)

Pumpkin head gal and pumpkin and crow punchneedle box.....

    After seeing your comments on so many of the same blogs I follow, I decided to check your's out (I don't have one cause I haven't figured out all this new technology yet! I am a computer nitwit.....). But, I am now a new follower of your's!

    Love your display of black/orange! So many great items included -- I just love them all!

    After seeing all the goodies people have for decorating for the holidays, I have to assume that you all have 5-6 huge rubbermaid boxes to store each season in like I do??????

    Love your display. I have an old chicken coop/crate but No wall space.. uhggg. Don't know why we built a house with walls so cut up. Love all the items, but that funky witch in the old shoe stole my heart. Too cute. Have a perfect fall day.
