The Bond....

The bond between a mother.....

and child is one of uncanny and unrivaled strength......

Even when the child is old enough to "leave the nest."*

*Added Edit:  For those who have inquired, no, Little Crow is not "leaving the nest."  Sorry to have misled or confused.

  3. The maternal heartstrings of gold seem to emit a reverberating tonal
    mix of melancholy and pride.....

What is upon the wing(s) dear crow?
(if you care to share of course) If not know still that thoughts of support and comfort surround)!

  4. Whatever prompted you to post this - it is perfect timing for me. Oldest here has a case of senior-itis. And she doesn't start her senior year for another 2 weeks. Nothing I say or do meets with her approval. Must remember it's her age -right? ~Ann

  12. Such a sweet and touching post. Have had a few boomerangs too. At any rate they are all out and on their own with the exception of our Precious Angel, Sandy. She is 48 y.o. which means we have been parenting for 50 years and we would not want it any other way. We have been Blessed.
Prayers for you too and hope all is well. Have a great day and Peace be with you,
    Barb

  18. My my. What a touching post. Three little birdies here need their mama so much. I can't imagine having and empty nest. Just about makes me cry to think about it. I hope as the years go by the babies will recognize that specail bond a girl can have with thier mother. -Steph-

  19. Your nest is never empty. It just isn't full all of the time. They always come home and visit. And eat.
