Where Are You Christmas?

This year our Christmas will come without ribbons... It will come without tags.... It will come without packages, boxes or bags....

But something tells me that, somehow or other, it will come just the same.

  3. Hugs, Ms. Crow, if I could I would hold you close,on my lap under my arm, and gently, tenderly pet your ruffled feathers back down.

Hoping things improve, and you are protected from the harsh gusty winter winds.

The other day I watched a crow here in the field, picking at a deer leg bone my hunter neighbor had tossed out after roasting it. Before we got to it, it dropped the bone and took flight, not risking an encounter with my boy's dog with me. Taking advantage of what was given, but smartly guarding its back. Very intelligent these birds are, making the best of the situation as they alone can.

But you know what? The wind took it high above the troublesome situation, and the view had to improved after rising above it. The smell of the winter river was on the breeze, and endurance doesn't come on the ground but only after pushing with the force of flight do strong spirits soar. Hugs, dear friend. Wishing better for you, high above the muddy fields, and rocky out crops. Lovin' all the Santas. God Bless You, Sincerely!!

  13. Love your Santa's! We're without all the Christmas glamour as well. You know though that that's not what it's all about anyway. We have all the glamour to celebrate His birthday in our hearts, which is a plenty :) Chin up fair lady, we love you!
    Merry Christmas!

P.S. How do you get the music to play on your blog? Inspired! Song for a winter's night which is playing now is one of my favourite songs.

  18. And when it comes anyway, our hearts grow. Somehow. At least the Grinch's did. You like I should steer the Crazy Train up Nod way? It will be a big black engine with a huge wreath on the front slamming through the snow. Don't need tracks. Riding through life on the Crazy Train together. ♥ to you, Lisa
