I stitched this little heart is from "My Dear Hearts" by Blackbird Designs last year but just now got around to "finally" finishing it...and, no, it was NOT a WWR casualty. When I got done, I decided it is definitely "pink-ish."
I may have to stitch this one again on a red linen like Aztec Red. (Ha! Yeah right!). Until such time, if any, that THAT happens, I just may have to reconsider my relatively recent (last post recent) dislike of pink.
But, for now, it is Thursday. And, as promised, I have drawn a winner for the needlepunched heart in my last post. The winner is:
BUT....
Although not exactly the same as the first, I did have another of the hearts and decided to draw a second winner.
The second name drawn was:
Congratulations to both Teresa and Marshel. Please contact me within 3 days with your mailing address and I will get your heart in the mail.
Thanks to everyone who played along.
I wish now I had more hearts.

While I never signed up for the pink heart giveaway can attest to that you have a HUGE HEART which you generously share with us every post. Congrats Teresa and Marshel.
ReplyDeleteWell it is a very pretty heart. Thank you so much for having a giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your work. I hope you had a nice day.
Love that Blackbirds Design heart and the pink it’s on. Congrats to the winners! Whoot whoot
ReplyDeleteYour stitched heart would make anyone reconsider any dislike of pink. Gosh, it is gorgeous as is. But, red would be nice too. Congrats to your lucky winners.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the two winners. You have a generous heart indeed and your work is beautiful. I can't imagine doing cross stitch on a 35 count. You must have good eyesight.
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Hugs,
Julia
Ooops, not 35 counts but 36 counts.
ReplyDeleteJulia
Oh, now that cross stitch heart may be “pinkish”, but it is NOT pink!!! So pretty. What did you put around the edge, glass beads?
ReplyDeleteNow you must tell me how you made those paper hearts. Pretty please. They are so sweet.
xoxo

And congrats to the winners!
Congrats to the winners and I love your stitched heart with the paper hearts all together. I need to get my St. V Day things out before it's over - Ha!
ReplyDeleteI think this shade is perfect. Subdued, faded soft. I'm not a pinky either and especially mauve, but sometimes there is a pink that is grown-up, aged, mature.
ReplyDeleteOh your stitched heart is lovely!!!! congrats to the winners. We are snowy today it is time to get dressed and be some kind of productive.
ReplyDeleteCathy
Thank you for the fantastic win! I don't know how to email you, but please email me at GoneToAlabama@aol.com and I'll send my mailing address from here at the old family plantation home. Marshel " Bamaplanter.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty "Pink " heart ...to me it looks beautiful, faded prim ! And your pretty paper hearts are wonderful too ! Congrats to the lucky winners !!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could stitch on that size linen either! 36 count, wow! I do think this heart is more of a prim shade of pink, it's very pretty! And those paper hearts, they are just precious. We're in the midst of that "monster" storm they are talking about on the television. We just have sleet and really not that much. I'm happy that I don't have to drive anywhere though. Jan in MA
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the two winners!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend my friend.
For some reason with my computer screen that heart is amazing and not so pinkish. Love it! Congrats to the winners! Janice
