  4. Beautiful boy and at Rainbow Bridge he no longer hurts and is running with the wind and his new found friends. You two will meet again one day and perhaps my fur babies and I will be lucky to run into you there one day too.

  5. I have tears in my eyes right now reading that Snowdog passed on. Actually crying now. Gosh when I first started blogging he was always a part of your posts at some point. I always enjoyed seeing posts about him and I know he loved the Winter months. A perfect dog for your Wisconsin Winters. My condolences to you and your family for your loss. It never get easy losing a family member...and yes they are our family members. Janice

  14. So sorry on the loss of your beautiful Snowdog. We that love our furr-babies know the pain. This poem from Charles Dickens says it all.
And can it be that in a world so full and busy, the loss of one creature makes a void so wide and deep that nothing but the width and depth of eternity can fill it up. He was an animal lover! Jennifer

  15. Oh God Robin. My eyes are burning from the tearless cry, but it will continue my friend. I'm sure he was weary and is now free, but oh how that breaks us. We love them enough to put their welfare over ours, but it doesn't lessen the pain of loss. Please drop a note when you can, I don't want to intrude in your grief, but need to know you are OK.

  22. I am so sorry. I am sending you my heart. I am still in mourning for my Sasha. I am not going to tell you it gets easier, because it doesn't. For me its been 5 months and I still cry. When you have that close relationship with your dog, it is such a hole left in your heart. I will be praying for you. I know the loneliness it brings.
That is a beautiful picture. I am glad you have those memories to go along with it.

  26. Aww..I am so very sorry to hear your beloved Snowdog has passed away. The heartbreak can be so bad....as I all too well know....but time and other furry pets can fill the void eventually. So long Snowdog...hope you have fun romping in the grass...maybe you will meet our Jack along the way and play.
    Hugs dear Robin....
