I have a very large mermaid, probably about 6 feet tall, carved from the trunk of a chestnut tree, she stands on her upturned tail in the corner of my garden terrace, her name is Glynis. The Mr and I have just returned form a trip to the Scilly Isles, which lie off the UK's south coast. The waters are crystal clear and we could see an abundance of Maidens Hair, a long seaweed, it made me think of mermaids. That is something I have not seen with my own eyes yet. What charming designs you stitched! I love cross stitch. And to "finish!" Let us not speak of the stack of sticheries in mine sewing basket. So glad the Blogger folks fixed the disappeared blog list. I am amazed when they help. It's like calling up the White House and actually being put through to the Vice President. Yours looks perfect. Lovely finish by Primitive Hare as well. You have been busy. We don’t grow ranunculous and bittersweet here. Not sure why. Maybe the climate is too hot. That bittersweet would be lovely to decorate with instead of the fake stuff. That is a mysterious looking moon you captured. Have a great weekend.
