Bloggy Sunshine

The sunshine retreated, the rain moved in, and the glorious fall leaves from my last post met with an early demise.  But even so, I've been warmed with bloggy sunshine the past several days....
You may have read of the Friday night antics shenanigans craft (???) sessions with Lil Raggedy Angie and the Pumpkin Hoarder, Crazy Cat Hoarder, Carmen from Primcats  and how, a few weeks ago, they made these awesome Cans of Crows (a project idea from Pamela at Our Pioneer Homestead in her Halloween Countdown 40 Days of Crafts series....)....

Shameless crow that I am, I begged, wined, whined, and pleaded for a can o' crows.  But The Crazy Cat Lady Carmen said, sorry - they were all spoken for and maybe they'd do up some more later.....

Well, gosh dilly dang, guess what didn't show up on my doorstep but a can o' crows hand-did by the Lil Raggedy and Pumpkin Hoarder Miss Carmen themselves:

Gullible: [guhl-uh-buhl] adjective: easily deceived or cheated.

(Thanks you two wonderfully crazy blog buds....I love ya to pieces...and my can o' crows too!) ;o)

Then...out of the gray (skies haven't been blue here for many days....), I got another jolt of sunshine....

A very special package from a very special lady filled with very special goodies....

Stacy from Stacy Kay Creations sent me an incredible box filled with her wonderful creations....made especially to please a crow....(and they did, they did!!)

An amazing painting Stacy painted just FOR MEE!!!  (Says she's a beginner painter...HA!!):

(I SOOO love this Stacy!!! It's the Crow's Caw!!)

A set of six (!) handmade cards:

The amount of detail on Stacy's cards is amazing....I'm so loving these glitzy crows!!

A framed vintage postcard print with another crow favorite (black Halloween cat!):

The sweetest little stitched "pumpkins" and crow pillow hanger:

PLUS, a teeny, tiny, little, crow pillow magnet, a vintage-style, mixed media, ornie hanger, and the very sweetest handmade card....(sorry, camera batteries were running very, very, lowwwww....but if you look closely, you can see them in that first group picture above....)

Stacy...you're the bestest and one of the dearest souls I've met on this journey....Thank you so very much for your incredible kindnesses....

Stacy has a selling blog, Buttons and Glitter Boutique, an on-line store, The Scrapbooking Cottage, and an Etsy Shop.  She's one amazingly crafty and talented soul and they don't come any sweeter.....
Now back to building that ark.....

OK....Folks....You can breathe a sigh of relief.....It's almost over.....
Janice's fun is being called to an untimely end....
Here's her final clue:

"While I was Gone

Things went Awry

To become quite Batty.

All you little wicked witchies

But this is what I'm going with.....
My "Zombie Girl....":

....And her little sister.....
Remember...there's still time to "join the hunt!"
Thanks Janice for all the spooky fun!

10/08/2011 Update......:

Janice has me thinking way, way, too hard on this one....
(Yeah....enough comments from the peanut gallery - I KNOW that's an easy thing to accomplish these days....)
But, for some reason, I'm not 100% comfortable in my skin with my answer for Janice's final clue.  Consequently and therefore, I am hereby formally " addending" to my original answer with this (hey....Janice didn't limit the number of our answers......)

What'd'ya think???

(Glue factory fodder???)

Halloween Magic and Possible Impossibilities.......

Fall and Halloween is a wonderful time in my mind and my world....
Nature puts on a spectacular show and there's magic in the air....
Nothing smells like a wooded forest carpeted in blanket of fall leaves....
And truly, anything is possible....

I've already been touched by the magic of the season....and by some possible impossibilities...

******

Remember when I said it was not likely you would see many photos of me on my blog as I hate virtually every likeness of me ever made....well.....I changed my mind....I'd like to introduce you to Witch Robin:

I was the winner of an awesome giveaway at MJ Ornaments recently - and the amazingly talented (and very sweet) Martha took a photo I gave her and made this remarkable ornament.  I LOVE it!!! Even the back is precious:

Thank you ever so much Martha....I absolutely, positively, adore this!!
If you wanna be a witch too, Martha can help you out.....Just visit her MJ Ornaments Shop.  She also has bunches of other wonderful pendants, charms, and ornaments that, trust me, are absolutely "bewitching!"

********

And another possible impossibility and touch of Halloween magic:
I was also one of several winners in the recent "What's-in-Your-Brew?" Giveaway sponsored by EHAG Emporium.  If you're not familiar with EHAG, you, my friend are living under a Halloween rock!  EHAG stands for "Eclectic Halloween Artists' Guild" and is a gathering of some of the most amazingly talented and creative artists you'll ever bump into in the night.  And of all the wonderful artists and prizes, I was tickled orange and black to be the winner of something from an artist I have long admired....Deb Adams from Possible Impossibilities Studio.  YIPEE!!!  I am pleased and honored for you to meet Grimly:

(Deb sent along a sweet little bag of candy too....)

Isn't he just the cutest dang thing ever??? Deb - I truly, do-ly, love him....and he's truly a well-behaved little goblin....I can't thank you enough, Deb, for sharing your Halloween magic with me!!

************

Oh....and one last touch of magic....(and, given my technologically challenged nature, this also fits into the category of a possible impossibility....)  I'm sure you noticed my new blog header....This was an incredibly generous surprise from the wonderfully sweet, creative and talented Traci at York Mountain Primitives.
Traci continues to dazzle me with her many different talents - folk art, dolls, bears, penny rugs, stitcheries, woodworking, gardening, baking, photography, poetry...and blog graphics!!!  I wanna be like Traci when I grow up.

Thank you Traci, from the bottom of my Halloween heart....

(And, hey - a little crow told me that Traci is having a giveaway on her blog where you can win your own personalized Halloween blog header designed by Traci....But you better hurry....the giveaway only runs for 13 hours....)

Wishing you a season filled with magic and possible impossibilities!!

Prims By The Water Halloween Scavenger Hunt ~ Illusive Clue No. 8

Seems I was mistaken (or more than two of us are having too much fun with Janice's little game...)

Clue No. 8 was mysteriously changed by the Blogger Goblins to:

"1 ~ 2 ~ 3
You can always count
On me!"

Could the Crow be first this time???

Sorry for the cheesy picture...but I'm a bit of a sentimentalist and my son won me this guy many, many, years ago and brought him home to me because he knew I loved Halloween....

Hey...Angie....Patti...Rachel???  You sleeping or what???
The count likes sleepy heads.....
For everyone else, it's not too late to join Janice's party at Prims By The Water!!!
