Skipping A Beat for Olde Lady Morgan

As part of her celebratory giveaway, Olde Lady Morgan from Primitives By Olde Lady Morgan has asked us to share what makes our hearts "skip a beat."
My first thought was those "s" things hanging from my trees and invading our yard I shared a few posts back....or the tarantula that I accidentally "kicked" with my barefoot while on vacation last time around.  Talk about making my heart skip a few beats....YIKES! But....I really can't take on group therapy for half of Blogland, so I decided to go with the kinds of things that make my heart skip a beat in a good way.....There are a plethora of them, so I had to narrow it down....These are just a few in random, rambling, order:

Sheep.....

Moonbeams.....

Flowers.....

Antique Chocolate Molds.....

 Raindrops on Leaves.....

All Things Black and Orange.....

Old Books and Photographs.....

The Patina of Old Wood and Stone.....

Old Cemeteries and Gravestones......

But nothing makes my heart skip a beat any faster than watching this......
Become this.......

Robin, My heart skipped a beat tonight when I realized I wasn't following your blog. Girl, why did you not just come rigt out and tell me that it would be an act of kindness to follow you back. I wondered why you never posted and just by chance blog hopping tonight saw someone that had you as a follower and low and behold here I am. Got lots of reading to catch up on here on your blog. Sometime the old brain just don't connect and put two and two together. But here I am now, and love what makes your heart skip a beat. Great pictues and great post. Have a good evening.

Yes it does make one's heart skip a beat to watch our boys turn into men. (I'm sure mothers of daughters feel similar things...but I only have boys) The pride you feel is overwhelming! Lovely, but not even remotely cranky, post! I think all the giveaway wins have knocked the cranky right out of you! Hee, hee!
Hugs,
Courtney

Love your pics, they are some of my favorites too. Especially the flowers and the old patina items. But let's not forget the family. That's what really makes our hearts go pitter patter.
