Something to Crow About!!

:o)
Yes, indeedy...This Cranky Crow isn't so very cranky right about now....
See, a little bit ago, I found Sweet Tamera's blog country at heart.  At the time I started following her blog, she was in the process of a giveaway to celebrate her then-current followers.  But, when it came time to announce the winner of her giveaway, Tamera, I think, surprised the heck out of everyone and announced a BUNCH of winners!! In addition to the adorable prim rabbit she told everyone she was giving away, she picked 8 surprise winners from her original followers AND 3 surprise winners from her "new" followers who joined her after her giveaway was announced!  And, YIPPEE!! I was one of those 3!!

My gift from Tamera - a beautiful star wall sconce (batteries INCLUDED!!), a darlin' little note pad with a crow that says "Something to crow about".....(how cute is that!), and the sweetest note:

The wall sconce is truly a special gift as it is a one-of-a-kind, and hand made by Tamera....(The star is made of punched tin that is so cool - doesn't show up very well in my photos though - sorry!)

Love it!

Thank you so very much Tamera....Your "country" heart has truly touched my heart!!

**********

And....further reducing the cranky levels this week, I also got this wonderful stash of wool from Dear Cathy at Tolentreasures(For no reason other than Cathy is a dear, sweet, soul!!!)

WOO HOO!!! I LOVE me my WOOL!!! The smell, the sight, the feel, the fuzzies!! The THINGS you can do with it!!!  Thank you so very much Cathy!! You're a sweetheart!! (And, yup, that's my rug hook perched up there....you know I got some plans for this stuff!!)  Although most of you know me as TheCrankyCrow (a name which may soon be changed to TheDancingCrow or TheSmilingCrow if I keep getting these kinds of packages in the mail), some of my "older" (and I DO mean that literally) friends call me by another name.....

(Yeah, you know who you are....and you're not very nice!)

Anyway....Big, and heartfelt, thanks to both Tamera and Cathy for making this crow a bit less cranky....(Now, if anyone is willing to do a swap for Mr. Cranky Crow, we might be able to do away with this whole "cranky" business for good...) :o)

If you don't already know Tamera and Cathy, please check them out.  Tamera is just a sweetheart (baseball bats and guns aside....) ;o)  Cathy is a sweetie too and also does some awesome painting!.....(But one warning...you probably shouldn't read Cathy's blog while drinking your morning coffee....more likely than not you'll choke on it while trying to stifle a full-blown snort....) ;o)

TTFN!!

Oh my gosh Girl you hit the big one! I visit Cathy all the time, in fact I think you've been peeking in my office early in the morning! I, on more than one occasion have choked or blew coffee on my screen while reading her post!!!! I'm a slow learner......but got it down now. DON'T drink and read at the same time! It could be hazardous to your health and by the way you are a hoot too!
Think we can link up our "cranky" hubs and sent em on a trip or something???

Sweet little lamp Robin and that stack of wool is so yummy lookin'.

Before I go makin' an offer on Mr. Cranky Crow, I'm wonderin' what his talents are . . . after the Roundup incident, I'm not sure I'd trust him with the yard work. LOL

Have a great day. No snort post today, but I have a good one for tomorrow. It involves a sinister green apple!
