There's a fullness in the air....of a summer over-ripe....
I can feel the prelude to autumn in the air....
There's fall in the air at my friend's (Cathy from Red Barn Rugs) too....
I spent the day helping her get patterns ready for upcoming shows and workshops....
Here are two of her brand spankin' new designs that I'm adding to my dance card (don't tell her I'm showing you...she hasn't even "released" them yet...):
"Bittersweet Bonnie:"
And "Pumpkin Line:"
Now this crow is off to find a nice bird bath in the sun and soak these ol' bones....Not an easy task standing for hours on one leg while holding a Sharpie marker in the other.....
;o)

Enjoy your soak. Those are spiffy patterns! Aren't we all a bit over the top for a pumpkin about now? Love the rolls of hay. In the town I grew up in, we had salt marsh hay rolled that way. Nothing more pretty than a salt marsh!
Blessings!
Love the sneak peek. I love them!
Storm rumblin here. I got some great photos! Love your music here. Have ah good evening...hugs
Sounds like a fun way to spend the day! Love the new patterns ~ especially the kitty :)

ohh i hope you had a great soak! ;-)
And yes those round barns are just lovely! Sometimes they call them Dutch barns, but i have NEVER seen them in Holland so i always have to smile when i hear that!
And thank you soo much for your sweet comment on my blogpost monday! With all that positive energy it must going to be oke, right?!

Cute patterns. Enjoy your soak. Light the candles, take a big glass of red wine with you. I hear the wine lubricates the achy joints. (well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it)
Kim :)
Awesome Barn - simply a gorgeous sight to see..
love that description "of summer over ripe".
Beautiful rug designs, thanks for the peek:0)
Kick back Robin & enjoy your soak
{{HUGS to you friend}}
wow what beautiful work,,and the photos of the fields and barn are lovely,, don't you just love a round barn,, my dad use to say a round barn was good because the devil couldn;t catch you in the corners,, isn't that awful,,I probably shouldn't say that,, lol,, he was just a funny man who loved to joke.
OK...I love barns but have never seen a round one. No corners for the cobwebs to get into...heehee!

Robin, Sounds like a fun day. Love the hay bale and the barn. That's a newbie for me, never have I seen a round barn. Love the rugs. I want so to learn how to do this so badly. Don't have a single rug. That would be so neat. Take care and enjoy your soak!!
Angela
Love those round barns! You enjoy yourself, and I love those patterns! Will she be selling them? How wonderful!
I would love to make one of them.
I have only made smaller items.

I, for one, am NOT ready for fall, mostly cuz I HATE what comes after it and the older I get, the longer the winter lasts!

Could that bird bath in the sun mean you got that pool cleaned up by any chance?
