Photos of Old home places hold so many unknown stories. Just as everything that goes on around us. Love that Winnie quote, and so true it is if you give it some thought.
OH I needed to read this post this evening HUGS Robin
Love old homesteads...families born, raised, lost, and started again. How many family dinners, squabbles, and happy times were held there. Pooh, what a silly old bear!! :)-Jan

Your images in concert with the words of Milne/Pooh you remind us that one of the great truths of living is this:
One can learn the most significant aspects of life in the simplest of lessons. Lessons illustrated within the most available (tho 'oft overlooked) venues...
Thank you for the beautiful reminder :-)
PS I offer a challenge for a friendly game of pooh-stix! :-)

Wow! Love those old homesteads. I think all of us prim lovers have a soft spot for abandoned buildings. You wonder about the lives lived there.

Some of those shots look like they could be taken over here,....there was one old run down place that I used to joke was our homestead.
So ... is it still cold there too?

I used to walk those old train trussles and watch that creek flow by, and my old homestead is gone forever, replaced by a highway.
