Ha!
Thought I wouldn't be here, didn't you?
Well, I'm not....really....
I'm sitting in a little room off the endless mirrored corridor leading to the Wizard's chambers....
Waiting for word on what he has in his black bag for Lil' Crow....
But....Lil Crow brought his laptop with him...for me...
The theme for this week: See It ~ Do It.
Inspiration gained from another source, and our interpretation of it.
Oh yikes....
I "see" lots.
I'm "inspired" lots.
But if you haven't figured it out by now, I don't "DO" lots...
Guess I really love this display thing in order to climb on board this week when I have a perfectly good excuse to be MIA....
But here we go:
My inspiration:
This sweet pattern offered up by Miss Pamela from Our Pioneer Homestead.
Like our own dear Misi, Pamela is very generous in sharing her talents and creative spirit....
Recently, she posted a series of free cross stitch patterns she designed.
Knew I had to do it....
(What witchy crow doesn't love black cats???)
My "interpretation:"
Mine is stitched on 28 count walnut-dyed Cashel linen (looks way lighter in photos than in person), backed with a yummy harvest calico (sorry, forgot to photograph that), and stuffed with aromatic, crushed, pine balsam for a lumpy, weighty, mushy, feel.
Pamela's pattern can be found HERE. Thanks Pamela!

Such a sweet little pillow Robin. And I love the cat too. Am I the only one in blogland that CAN'T cross stitch?? Shirlie has been so helpful and I have tried but just don't have the patience for it. Oh I want to learn to be more patient. Hope you got good news today. Have a good week.

Beautiful Robin. I saw that Pamela had so generously given up this pattern and instantly pinned it to do......later. I like your walnut dyed linen. What a great addition to your decor this Halloween. I hope all went well in the city. How nice for Little Crow to bring his laptop for you. So, what's in the bag? I hope you get good word this time. Take care. -Steph-
