Ha!
Surprised ya, didn't I?
Told you I'd be back.....
If you were wondering where I spirited off to.... Well, after 10+ years, we went on a little vaka.... ...to one of our old haunts, Arizona....
As (my) luck would have it, things got off to a "prickly" start....
We missed our connecting flight in Denver, and no hope of another flight out until well over 24 hours later...and no motel rooms to be had in Denver given that it was graduation weekend.
But, we did, eventually, get to Tucson (don't ask...another long story....) although it took our luggage a few days to catch up....
It was a short stay...made shorter by my wonderful not-so-much friends at United...but the weather and company (not counting Mr. Crow for a day or two) was wonderful.
And now we're home again, home again, jiggety jig...
And back to THE BOXES.
I'm making progress.....
Found a few of the "bells" (no whistles yet though)....
And, I finally found my skater's lanterns and have them "re-homed":
When I come up for air, I'll do my best to catch up with you all!!

The picture on the top of your page reminds me of the books Miss Peregrine"s home for peticular children.
I am so sorry to hear that your vacation started out so awful. I bet you were really looking forward to it. Doesn't it seem like that is the way it always goes. I hope things have improved now. Hugs, Teresa

Oh Robin, I'm so sorry to hear your long awaited vacation got off to such a rough start. I love the pics of your collections! You have some great things. Thanks for sharing and welcome home! Big hugs, Lori
I also love your great collections and your way of displaying them.
I've been in this cottage for a year and a half and I still traipse out
to the storage building and open a box or two. No place to put it
when I find it but it is like seeing an old friend. Getting ready for
company. I know you enjoyed a change of scenery anyway. Julia
Morning Sweet Crow, glad you went on a much needed vaca even though many problems popped up. Beautiful Arizona, wonderful pictures.... I adore your collection of skater lantern's, they make me happy. Great home for them in that cupboard, as does the bells. Happy unpacking more treasures, keep in touch, your missed so much. Hugs Francine.
Hi Robin - so glad you got to have a get-away.
Been to AZ just once and it was mid summer...110 and we took a trip into the dessert - not a smart move.
Pretty pictures.
Your re-homed pictures are so wonderful - your collections are just great.
Blessings
Karen
Love the new home you found for your lanterns! Great combo...the cool of the metal and the warmth of the wood. Glad you were able to get out of town for a bit and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Happy to see you back, my feathered friend!

Hello again Crow! Hope you are back for good now! Sorry your vacation wasn't as smooth as it should have been. Flying has a tendency to change our plans! But, hopefully you had some fun when you finally did get there. LOVE your skater lanterns - so cute!
Cracky, So glad you got away... even with mishaps... We had a vacation cut short too in Feb.. BUT, the day 1/2 I did have at the beach was better then the below zero weather back home!
I am thinking you "need" to share some of those lanterns with OLM!!! hehe! Enjoy! OLM
