Merry Christmas Eve Eve Everyone....
We have the snow
...and a bit of Christmas greenery
The Christmas deer (and Snowdog) are in place
Even the "lady" seems dressed in her finest for the upcoming holiday
But inside, one can barely tell
This is as "Christmas" as it is going to get this year.
At least we look normal from the outside.

I love the dog and that witchy weather vane! My house looks normal outside and in, except for a winter greenery wreath with a cardinal on my door. Since I go to my son's house for Christmas I no longer drag out the decorations only to put them back.
However, I do have the Christmas spirit inside my heart and wishing you a very happy Christmas and a good new year.
Sending hugs and Christmas wishes.
Health and happiness in 2020.
Have a blessed and joyful Christmas!

Have to admit I read your comments on Marly`s blog, sounds like you are struggling with the holidays a bit this year. You aren`t the only one, I carried up a bare tree from the basement this afternoon only because family is coming over tomorrow. The tree will be "as is", no ornaments.I just packed up the pumpkins two days ago! Some years Christmas seems more melancholy than festive and I find myself with a "don`t care " attitude. I hope you are able to find some unexpected joy in the next few weeks and you enjoy the beauty of the winter season (even though winter in Wisconsin can last forever!)Merry Christmas Cranky Crow!
It still looks wonderful. Sending Christmas blessings and for the new year.

Thank you for the post. I really look forward to them.
Oh my that's a lot of snow. We will be 50's for a few days!
Wishing you unexpected and positive happenings in 2020. If it goes as fast as 2019 has, it'll be over in a flash.
Well Well Well so glad you made an appearance before Christmas. Been wondering what you have been up to in Nod. Looks like you have the snow where here our temps have been Spring like with no snow. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Mr Crow, Little Crow and Snowdog! Janice
Sending Christmas blessings and your statement rings so true for so many, sometimes people never take the time to see what is really on the inside.

I love your writing and your photography. Thank you.
Hi Robin,
Always so lovely to hear from you and to see your beautiful photos! We are just the opposite here with no snow and I only got my home decorated a few days before Christmas, so will just enjoy it longer! Some years seem to be like that and am just hoping that things will be much better for us all in 2020!! As Tiny Tim said, "God Bless us, everyone!"
Christmas Blessings and Hugs to you, my friend~

I hope you had a lovely Christmas. I was just thinking of you in the land of Nod. I hope you have a lovely New Year.
So nice to see your post.
Each year I decorate less. This year we went South so I did no decorating. I love the family but hate the pressure of capitalism (and I allow myself to be affected). May 2020 bring blessings!
New follower here ...great blog but BAH I hate SNOW . However that is one handsome snow dog ya have . Love the blog name ...Love me some SASSY CRANKY CHICKS !Stop by my blog and get acquainted
Happy belated Christmas and a very Happy New Year!! Wow. You all up in the land of Nod sure get that Currier and Ives look with all the snow!! Beautiful. The world always seems quiet and peaceful as it sleeps under the blanket of white. Meanwhile , several hundreds of miles south of you, we keep flirting with Summer! Yep, AC has been on and off for days since December 25. It totally ruins that Christmas ambiance for sure!!
Robin, there is a certain simplicity and calm with doing just what feels important at Christmas and a few prims are the best way to keep the “noise”of the commercialism we all experience. Enjoy your winter beauty and keep us posted on how your 2020 is unfolding up there in the Land of Nod!
Hello Robin. I enjoyed your beautiful winter photos. And, I would like to meet you some day. Perhaps you'll come visit me in Scandinavia, Wisconsin this summer June 13 for our annual gathering of the Victorian Sweatshop Forum Sewing Machine Extravaganza. VSF is a national and international group of antique and vintage sewing machine collectors, restorers. Talk to you soon, ok? --Linda (Mrs. D).
It still looks wonderful. Sending Christmas blessings and for the new year.
Cathy
