For many reasons, I need to "go away" for a while.
Before "leaving," however, I want to thank sweet Donna of "A Little of This and A Little of That" for the happy mail I received.
She is an incredibly gifted artist and how she stuffs so much joy in one envelope (which, by the way, is as "happy" as everything inside) has to involve a bit of magic.
From the first time I read her blog, I fell in love with the beautiful watercolors she creates.
I mentioned my "sleep" issues, so she thoughtfully sent some Valerian tea. And the card is a little masterpiece of mixed media.
Thank you Donna....your kindnesses are so very beautiful in this grey world and this brought me a much-needed smile.

I will keep you all in my heart and thoughts.

Oh! My favorite ATTORNEY, please rest, do what you need to do, and come back, if that be your path and your will. I will pray for you and light a holy candle with a special Intention for you, for peace and contentment. The blogosphere is not as sweet (and cranky) without you!
I do hope you're well. Take care and know we will be here when you are ready bearing a cup of tea and a welcoming hug :-)
I will miss you muchly sweet Robin. Take time but do come back, even if it's only a visit to my blog. Sending love, Jean
Everyone needs a break now and then. I will miss you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself.
Hugs,
Julia
They all said what I was going to say. Just to put my 1 cent worth in... I will miss you terribly too and will look forward to your return after a good rest.
What I should write is this, “If you feel burnout setting in, if you feel demoralized and exhausted, it is best, for the sake of everyone, to withdrawal and restore yourself.” Dalai Lama. 🧐 What I am really feeling is this, “Noooooooo! You can’t expect me to loose you now!”. Ms Peppercorn 🥺. So I will compromise and tell you with love to take some time but please return. 😔
Will miss your gifted crankiness, but the Dalai Lama had it right.... Be restored and
return with added flint and vinegar.....You have a great heart behind the crank..you
are fooling no one.....Blessings to you, Robin.
Oh dear, I miss you already! I hope you are going to re-energize by the lake. I would be doing that but I have to share my space on the lake with my sister and her family and with a dog that's not got much longer to live according to her vet it's just hard to go or get away. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Jan in MA

Will miss you too ...take care & hope to see you again .
May it restore and rejuvenate you and even inspire you.
I completely understand, sometimes I just want to hide away from the world for a few weeks and recharge.
Take it easy and be good to yourself.
Debbie

Darling Robin,
We are so sorry to read about all the difficulties you have been facing recently. Troubles do seem to come together all at once and one can get completely overwhelmed by it all.
It is particularly difficult to remain positive in these strange and scary times, but there will be light at the end of the tunnel and you are not alone in struggling.
How delightful to have been sent such a thoughtful gift. The kindness of people is so touching and does lift the spirits.
We are holding you close in our hearts and look forward to future banter and good times! Take the greatest of care.
