{David T. Smith redware turkey}
I am here, but once again having technology issues. This time the hard-drive on my pc expired....or, more accurately, I believe the hard-drive on my pc has "expired."
And since I have issues posting from my Ipad, especially with respect to uploading photos, I've been quiet. But I'm here.

In enjoyable news, this book has been a great escape to a different place and a different time. It's a debut novel by this UK author, but it's making me think it won't be the last of her works that I read.
Downside: Now I want to go to The Hebrides.
{"The House Between Tides" by Sarah Maine.}
Hope all is well by you.

I hope you'll not be gone long. I love your header picture and the redware turkey. It really is time to be stacking up the books for a winter's reading. I am reading about the wolves of Yellowstone. I am fascinated with them.
Oops, my comment got attacked by cyber dust and didn't go through. lol...
So I'll try again.
I'm always happy to see a post from you. I hope that you get your computer issues fixed shortly.
I love the turkey header. He is a magnificent turkey.
I'm not familiar with the author of the book you showed but I hope that it has many hours of enjoyment for you.
Enjoy the weekend,
Hugs,
Julia
I love that turkey! I am not familiar with that author I am not reading much right now having eye issues.
hope your issues resolve soon miss hearing from you.

Was nice to see a blog post by you and sorry you're having technology issues once again. Agree the turkey header photo was nice but so much enjoy the witch ones and since you are the 'cranky crow' what about some crow header photos??
I'm not familiar with that author but would have loved to visit Scotland in my younger years. But I am familiar with the UK writer Anne Perry and know her brother who is a medical doctor.
What an interested redware turkey. Love it! Dont get me started on technology. My grans know more than I do. LOL Janice
Stunning turkeys! I like to blame tech problems on aliens and me not having a mystery mobile like Scooby 😂. Glad you’re well and getting some reading in 💕
Hope you enjoy your holiday week. I get to be with the kids. Only 2nd Thanksgiving together since they went to college and they're 30 and 35! Woot!
I think dear Robin you are destined to visit the UK. I've just ordered your book from my local library, cost of 50p. At the moment I'm reading The Firebird by Susanna Kearsley, partly set in Scotland, but also moves to Russia. I also read the Shadowy Horses by her, very mystical with a good dollop of history too.
Have a wonderful thanksgiving.
Jean
You have THE BEST stuff. Love the redware turkey. David T. Smith is in southern Ohio but I've never been to his shop. I would leave too depressed!
So is this post from the iPad? If so, I am impressed!
I've been wondering what happened to you! I'm glad it's computer woes instead of health or family issues!! Well, you know what I mean.
The book I will have to read the synopsis after I publish my comment. I'm always on the lookout for a good read.
Hope you can get the issue fixed and be able to update when you find time!!
I have turkey envy. I hadn’t seen this from D Smith. Gorgeous. And I put this book on hold at my library. Woah, you’ve got influence!
just ordered it from my library

I agree with the others, love the redware turkey! I just struggle with technology. I'm an old dog and all the tricks I know I had to learn the hard way.
Ohhhhh, that book sounds goooooooooooooood...
Sorry about the techy issues.
-smile-
I have been AWOL a bit but finally catching up on bloggies! And of course made a beeline here. I am going to read that book, too! It looks intriguing! Keep on keepin' on, Robin! I am sorry about your hard drive. Mine is making a frightening sound and may join your expired PC soon.
I love your header pic and that turkey! I always say it's a good thing I don't have a baseball bat in my computer room because I would have destroyed my computer by now!
Super blog
I love your turkeys!! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Robin.
