Hi dear Robin, I don't bother with Valentine anymore. I remember when I brought out my heart-covered mugs and heart doilies and heart napkins but those days are gone. The only thing I made was some heart-shaped cookies with a tiny bit of pale pink frosting and some pearly sprinkles for the husband. That was the extent of the romance, lol... I like the heart under the dome.

I'm still counting days to spring, only 33 days. It's getting closer.

Take care, stay safe and warm.
Hugs,
Julia

Valentine's day passed pretty uneventful here. I did have some decorations out and talked to my daughter and grand. I used to work for a florist and by the end of valentine's day I was more than tired.
I hope you had a nice day

Happy Valentine's Day! My brother is selling his home on Lake Nokomis. He wants to build a smaller place in the same area. Just wanted to keep you informed on the neighborhood! Have a good Tuesday!

I was getting ready to go to bed when this was posted so didn't see it until this morning. Guess your Valentines day was as uneventful as mine. Although during my walk to the mailbox yesterday, a neighbor who had just picked up his grandson stopped and the grandson gave me a piece of candy from the heart he was given at school. Thought that was a sweet gesture.

Lovely glass enclosed valentine... An assorted box of macaroons was received
from dear friend and I will experience the taste explosion one per day with
tea until collection is exhausted and a diet is called for. We are promised warmer temps this week - another lovely gift. Hope the sun will make an appearance in your corner of the world.

Happy, belated, Valentine’s Day. I loved exchanging them in grade school— the rule was that you had to give one to everyone in the class— and we made shoebox Or paper plate mailboxes to hold them.

Beautiful! Is that one of the metal pin vase inserts holding up the hearts? Love it.

Love that heart. My nephew bought a half dozen massive chocolate covered strawberries from the two local chocolatiers, and a pound of meltaways.... for me. Today is the day after, berries are gone, and Mark hid what's left of the pound. So as midnight is closing in tonight, I ate the orange sherbert without a bowl. From the container. Not a good idea. Too late.

Hey to my Yankee girl. I've rewritten my blog post five times since you read it. I think it is better now. I appreciate your kind praise. Anything I do right is just an accident. You know when you visit old families here in the Old South, when we say come for a visit, it means you are staying anywhere from a week to a month. Marshel in Alabama
