Fur, Fin, Feather & Flora

I know it's been a while...or at least it seems like it has been.
Who really knows these days...

There isn't a great deal newsworthy here in Nod (other than they want to use ankle bracelets on COVID "offenders"), so you're stuck with my random thoughts once again.

FUR:

(A new twist on "bowl fillers.")

(...and basket fillers....)

FIN:

I thought that watery wench would be undoing...well, this whale is going to undo what little she left me with.

A little fur and fin:

(Cat is for size reference only. 😉)

FEATHER:

Witch Robin....get it?

FLORA:

The Clematis is doing well...although I originally planted (and repeatedly "replanted") the deep purple "Jackmanii" variety next to this one, this one apparently doesn't care to share its space with Jack.

Salvia

(My little "woodland" area between the house and garage. I love, love, love ferns....)

(Fur and Flora)

So there you have it....a whole lot of nothing.

It's going to be a nippy one tonight. I already have 2 sweatshirts on...may just start a fire.
Enjoy what's left of the rest of your weekend!

The loops on your whale look perfect to me so don't know what the heck you were complaining about a few posts back. Adorable sweet felines but I love me some big dog to hug! I miss my Rottie Ben. Hey, that robin on the witch would be a great rug to hook if you could get a photo of it at the proper angle.

If that's your view, it's fabulous. Flowers and ferns look really nice, gorgeous shade of green.

Your kits are beautiful and as a reference, that's no punk whale. And the big fellow is handsome.

Kitties can be silly when it comes to where they want to sleep. Mine loved sleeping on or in my rug frame.
Love the whale rug, I am still thinking about hooking a Whale and surrounding it with braid, for my beach room.

Hi Robin,
I am still laughing about about your bowl and basket fillers!!! Hahaha
So good to see you still have a sense of humor!! Love all your clever play on words and just loved your post!!!!
That is one BIG WHALE!!! I think Fin was sizing it up to see if it would fit in his bowl!!!! I love how it is coming along and it looks wonderful!! Great job!!!!!
Hope the sun starts shining for you!!! I keep telling you that I will very happily share, if only I could!! We seem to have temps that are too hot and yours are too cold!! Wish we could just meet somewhere in the middle and would both be happy!!!
Take care my friend, and stay warm!!
Heart Hugs~

I love ferns too, I wonder if you have an Irish Tatting Fern amongst yours?

Hello from Blighty. I'm super pleased to have found your wonderful blog, I am a crow lover, cranky or no. And listening to the music on Wikplayer has been just dandy.

Your wale looks great But so do your gardens. You have been very busy between the two. Funny pictures of birds and cats.

A whale of a rug, great looking gardens and wonderful fur babes to boot.

Looks like a successful quarantine to me.

You really hooked that whale of a whale in a hurry. Now get it back on the frame!!!
I am in love with your gazebo. Lucky you. Love your clematis, too.
Ankle bracelets for COVID offenders? Good god. What next? But it's ok for thousands to "protest" for Black Lives Matter but not for people to protest our liberties being taken away. Our Country has gone mad.

Hello Robin,
I love all of your pictures! I love that rug too, but I agree, whales are the hardest things in the world to hook! I don't know why, but they are. One of my sons has the first whale I hooked and its hanging in his apartment and I cringe every time I look at it. Yours is great. Whose pattern is that?
Your kitty is so nice and furry. My kitty, isn't doing well and my husband said, "he might have to be put down." I don't know if I can take another change. The ankle bracelet thing sent shivers down my spin. Government overreach every single day.
I am going to ignore the media for awhile.
Packing is going along nicely. Almost finished with the house.
Have a delightful day,

Living in cold temp. We live in hot climate, and sometimes I wonder what it feels like living in four seasons. Regards
