Should I Tell Them?

Nah, I don't think so.

I am sure they already know. Smarter than we, they are. I also love the rug.

Ditto what Marly said. That is a cute snow angel and what cool top and bottom borders. Guess you'll be making soup and baking bread.

Hybrid magnolias in bloom here; they always burst out with the first warm days only to be hit later with frost and snow. Spring is the most fickle season!

Oh Robin, 8 to 12 inches – did it actually snow that much? You know, that just might make me happy – I’ve never been one for spring fever. This might sound weird, but there’s just something about knowing all the work that’s ahead of me that makes me not want to jump into warm weather too quickly. It just seems like endless days of tilling, mowing, weeding, trimming, planting, harvesting, etc. And as soon as I get done, I have to start all over again! It’s what I want to do, but when the heat and humidity begin, I get very grouchy. I need to find somewhere where the summertime high is 65°! You know what would make me less grouchy in summer-a cribzebo - or is ir cornzebo😆? Regardless, you must tell me how you went about moving that if you did or was it already there? There’s one standing in a field a few miles away and I’m gonna knock on the nearest farm door and see if they want to part with it. (Unless it’s a small fortune ) Now, how on earth I would ever move it is a question for another day!

Well we had rain, freezing rain and then snowing again here now. UGH Did Nod come here? Loving that hooked snowman though. Never seen that pattern before. I hope it did not snow that much. Janice

Those robins are such an encouraging sight.
We are in for some sloppy snow in the morning.
We had one robin show up but I haven't see it since.
I loved seeing the video.
I love that pattern.

Hi Miss Mary...I do not have an email for you so I will try responding here to you. Thankfully, we only got a bit less than 8". I initially thought it was only 6" but have since been corrected. Either way, it's white. I can empathize with your feelings about spring fever - at least this year. I feel like being sick and hospitalized put me back by at least a month on my "gotta-do" list and I was already behind. As for the cornzebo (that's what we call it), my husband and some of the guys from the race team we were involved with actually took the original crib apart piece by piece. The one he found for me was a bit more "silver/galvanized" than I liked so they used muriatic acid to age each piece also. When it was sufficiently aged, they transported it here (I believe they used one of the trailers they used for the race sleds??) and put it back together. We also cut it down as I did not want it so tall. (Yes, I am, indeed, picky LOL.)
