...is growing.
Welcoming the newest member of the fluffle:
He is stitched on 36-count Vintage Country Mocha linen with most of the called-for flosses (one or two substitutions....); finished with a simple, primitive, hem stitch and tucked in an equally simple and primitive shadow box.

Quite nicely done and perfect frame. I don't have the patience for cross stitch but give me a big hook, some wool and primitive rug linen and I'll be good to go.
Happy Easter.
Oh, Robin, this is an exceptional work of art!! And your choice of shadow box framing is perfect.
Exquisite piece and perfect frame! Happy Easter! Sheepunderfeet
Your hem stitch finish is perfection.
Happy Easter, dear ET ;-)
I really need to learn the hem stitch! ~ beautiful stitching, and finishing my friend!
What a great addition to the warren ( It can’t be too large!) . I love what you are doing with shadow boxes. The hem stitching is a great finish. I have several of my mom’s pieces which she finished the same way. Mary @ Hilltop Post
He's lovely, a great addition to the warren.
Fluffles? Had to look that one up, super cute. Your work as always is fine and dandy. The Mr and I have just returned from a woodland walk but unfortunately nay a bunny in sight. Happy Easter my friend. xx
What a lovely design. Your work is so precise and I love how you finished the hem. It gives it a special touch. A great addition to your fluffles but the cutest fluffle of all is little Mia, don't you think?
Happy belated Easter my friend. I missed Easter altogether this year. I was sick in bed but I'm on the mend but still very tired.
Hugs,
Julia
Perfection of course!
Keep those fingers busy - good for the soul

Hope you had a nice Easter and enjoyed some chocolates!!!
I'm not an expert in any craft but I think your work here is beautiful and adorable! I hope you had a good Easter and could celebrate up there in Nod!
Morning Robin, hope you had a Happy Easter, sorry I’m a little late… I adore the stitchery as I do love rabbits, the frame shadow box is perfect and sure love that word fluffie…..Spring has showed up here finally, I’m even bought some Pansy’s to plant in pots soon, been puttering on the balcony too… Take Care, Love Always, Francine.
I stitched a mini sampler (1 over 1 on 32) and finished it with a hem stitch. This was my first attempt to hem stitch, and I wasn't pleased with the results. I think it may have had to do with the fact the linen wasn't an even weave. After reading your statement about a primitive hem stitch, that's what I'm going to call mine.
I have one more mini to hem stitch that I've put off. Now I'm ready to tackle it and call it primitive.
